Zimzum (The Glow)

A tough veteran IDF General and his young girl-friend are determined to enjoy a weekend in the country. He is addicted to TV and radio news, she is interested in the medieval philosopher Maimonides. The weekend is marred by mysterious thefts from the village, rumors of Palestinian terrorists hiding in the avocado grove and a strange hum emitted by the radio instead of news. The General volunteers to take charge of an armed patrol in the area. The girl, left to herself, encounters strange people and unexpected events. The girl learns something about herself and the reality in which she lives. The General learns nothing.
